Assign an Item Catalog to a User Type

Mobile workers can search for parts within an item catalog only after you assign a registered catalog to the respective User Types.

1. Click Configuration > Parts Catalog.
2. Click the Actions icon for the catalog for which you want to assign user types and then click Assign to User Types.
   The User Types that are configured in the current environment appears.
3. Select the User Types for which you want to assign the catalog.
4. Click Assign.
   The catalog is assigned to all the users of the selected User Types regardless of the configured language. The Language parameter isn’t displayed on the tiles of parts catalogs that are uploaded from Oracle Fusion Service and Service Logistics. The users of the selected User Types can now search for the parts within these catalogs using the Search field.
