Configure SSO in Oracle Analytics

You must configure SSO in Oracle Analytics, after adding a channel for it in Oracle Field Service.

Important: This information only applies to Oracle Field Service environments. You can verify whether you've Oracle Field Service or Oracle Fusion Field Service, by signing in and checking on the About page.
Note: Oracle Analytics is a separate Oracle product distinct from Oracle Fusion Field Service. You must have a valid subscription to access Oracle Analytics.

To configure SSO:

  1. Log onto the application as an administrator–enter username and password.
    Note: Ensure that the username in Oracle Field Service matches the username in Oracle Analytics.
  2. To enable SSO, click SSO Configuration.
  3. Click Configure SSO.
  4. Select Import IP metadata option. Browse and select the same SSO file that was used for Oracle Field Service Cloud from SAML IDP Provider
  5. In SSO protocol field, enter HTTP POST/
  6. In User Identifier, custom attribute field, enter uid.
  7. Export Oracle Analytics Provider metadata and update the SAML IDP provider in Oracle Field Service.
  8. Click Test and then select Start SSO.
    When you enter the administrator user name and password, the message indicating a successful login session appears.
  9. Click Enable SSO.
    Note: Oracle Analytics environment must be active while accessing the embedded reports in Oracle Field Service. If not, a blank page will be displayed with error details.
