Use Item Catalog from Oracle Fusion Service and Service Logistics without Using Oracle Integration
You can use item catalogs or inventory organizations that are created in your Fusion environment in Oracle Fusion Field Service, directly without connecting to Oracle Integration. This means, you just make some configuration changes and pull the items.
Using an item catalog directly from Oracle Fusion Service and Service Logistics helps you integrate an existing Item Catalog or Organization data easily into Oracle Fusion Field Service, making it available for mobile workers in offline mode. You can also separate data access between user types by registering parts catalogs of different structures from the same source and assigning them to the appropriate user types.
- Add Oracle Fusion Service and Service Logistics as an application.
- Register the required item catalogs.
- Assign the catalogs to user types.
When you complete these steps, the catalog is assigned to all the users of the selected user types regardless of the configured language. The users of the selected user types can search for the parts within these catalogs using the Search field.
