Verify the Oracle HCM-OFS Worker Availability Integration

You can use the "Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability" integration to update the calendar availability of an employee from Oracle HCM Cloud to Oracle Fusion Field Service. The availability of the employee is calculated based on public holidays, resource exceptions in between the assigned work schedules, and absences.

  1. Log in to Oracle Integration.
  2. Open the Integrations page.
  3. Activate the Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability, Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability Activity Type, Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability Helper, Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability Activity Delete, Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability WS Delete, Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability Sync Helper, Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability WS Creator, and Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability Activity Create integrations, if they are not activated.
  4. Click the actions menu next to the Oracle HCM OFS Worker Availability integration.
  5. Click Schedule and specify the schedule details such as Frequency, Start Date, End Date, and TimeZone.

  7. To verify the integration flow:
    1. Log in to Oracle HCM Cloud and update the schedule of an employee on the Schedule Assignment page. This screenshot shows the Schedule Assignment page:

    2. Wait for the integration to run per the schedule.
    3. Log in to Oracle Fusion Field Service and open the Resource Calendar. The calendar for the resource displays the updated details. Further, the resource exceptions (such as training) are displayed as internal activities in the Dispatch Console.
