Fusion API Duty Roles, Privileges, and Data Security

Data Security Policies

The Fusion user configured in the fusionLogin secure parameter should have the below privileges to get the data in Asset Details plugin.

Configure the following data security policies:

Business Object	Policy Description	Policy Store Implementation
Installed Base Asset	A Maintenance Manager can manage all installed base assets.	Privilege: Manage Installed Base Asset; Read; Update Resource: Installed Base Asset
Manufacturing Plant	A Manufacturing Engineer can manage manufacturing plants within the plants where they can operate.	Privilege: Manage Production Resource Resource: Manufacturing Plant
Inventory Organization	An Inventory Manager can manage items and inventory organization parameters within the inventory organizations where they can operate.	Privilege: Manage Maintenance Organization Resource: Inventory Organization
CRM Asset	Users can view and update CRM assets.	Privilege: View Asset; Read; Update; Update Asset Resource: CRM Asset

Duty Roles

Configure the following duty roles:

Duty Role	Description
Maintenance Management Web Service	Provides service access to maintenance asset management and work execution by using REST services.
Inventory Administration	Configures all setup-related activities for inventory management.
Sales Party Management	Manages creation and maintenance of sales organizations and consumers for internal sales users. Additional duties include viewing opportunities and opportunity revenue, reviewing sales leads, and managing appointments, interactions, and customer contacts.
Employee	Identifies the person as an employee.
Customer Service Representative	Typically used in a call center to handle customer calls of varying types, including price and availability requests, quote requests, order entry, and order status inquiries. This role may support a group of customers or a group of Account Managers.
Maintenance Technician	Responsible for executing and completing maintenance tasks, and for reporting materials and resources used during the maintenance activity.
