How do I hide a plugin for a specific user?

You can hide or modify the visibility of buttons within Oracle Fusion Field Service Cloud by adjusting form and plugin configurations.

  1. Navigate to Configuration → Forms and Plugins.
  2. Click View and search for the required plugin.
  3. In the plugin list, click the number under Items Configured.
  4. Expand all groups and browse to find the interface where you want to hide the button.

  5. Select and click the specific button you want to hide or modify. For example, to hide or remove the button Debrief under the Activity Details page for the Contract Technician user type, select and click Debrief. The Activity Details Visual Form Editor appears.
  6. Highlight and click the selected button in the configuration panel.
  7. You have the following options to customize the visibility:
  • Remove Item – Completely removes the button for all users of this user type.
  • Adjust Visibility Conditions – If there are multiple conditions, you can remove one or more.
  • Edit a Condition – Click the condition type (e.g., RO) to modify it.
  • Add a New Condition – Define additional visibility rules as needed.
  1. After making the required modifications, click Publish to publish the changes and then refresh your browser to see the updates take effect.
