Prerequisites for Automatic Broadcasting
You can automatically broadcast an activity to multiple users simultaneously whenever an activity is created in a bucket.
After an activity is broadcasted, the receivers have an option to accept or reject the activity. The activity is assigned to the receiver who accepts the activity. In case of assignment failure or time out, the system triggers an alert to the users.
Configure these prerequisites:
Make sure that your company has a subscription to the Collaboration service and that it is enabled.
Create a bucket with active mobile workers. See the Add a resource type for the bucket role section in the Administering Oracle Field Service Guide.
Make sure mobile workers in the bucket are enabled with the Allow activity move via chat collaboration permission. See the Enable Collaboration Permissions topic.
Make sure mobile workers in the bucket are enabled with appropriate work skill, work zone and active calendar. See the Working with Resource, Managing resource work skills, and Managing resource work zones in the Administering Oracle Field Service Guide.
Create a message scenario to send assignment failure or time out alert message. See the Create a Message Scenario section in the Administering Oracle Field Service Guide.
