You can use Broadcasting to communicate a common message with multiple users
simultaneously. These users could be from a specific user group or a location. Broadcasting is not
a conversation between users.
Recipients do not see each other and do not know if others have received the same message.
Recipients can acknowledge a broadcast message or initiate a one-to-one chat with the sender.

From the Collaboration window, click the new conversation icon
.
- Click Group Message.
- Click User Group and select the
appropriate group from the list.
- Click Next.

Click the broadcast option

Fill up these fields:

Click Expiry to set up expiry time in minutes, hours, and days for
the broadcasted message. The maximum limit for the expiry is 10 days. The recipients can see
the expiry time setup in their windows.

Click Acknowledgement to activate the message acknowledgement
option. Receivers can acknowledge the message and you can view the statistics of the
acknowledged messages. You can also set up Acknowledgement when the
broadcast starts.
- Click Start Broadcast.
The
Broadcast window opens.

Enter the broadcast message and click Send.

Click Recipients to view the following broadcast
attributes:
- Acknowledged: If you’ve enabled the Acknowledgment option,
you can see the list of users who acknowledged the message.
- Successfully Delivered: Indicates that the message has been
received by the recipient and they have opened the Collaboration window.
- Not Delivered: Indicates that the message has been sent but
not reached the recipient yet. This could be due to the recipient being offline or not
having opened the Collaboration window.
- Read: Indicates that the recipient has opened the chat and
viewed the message.
If the total count of recipients exceeds 100, you can only see the number of users in
each category. The individual user names and avatars are not displayed.
- The recipients can then open the broadcasted message and
click:
