Start a Conference

In Collaboration, you can start a conference using two ways. You can use the Start Conference option to invite other users for a chat. Or, you can use the Group Message option to chat with a user group.

  1. From the Collaboration window, click the new conversation icon This image shows the New conversation icon..
  2. Search for or select the user with whom you want to start a conference chat
  3. Click the invite user icon and select another user into this chat window.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add additional users to the conference.
    All the messages in the thread are available to all the users in the conference, irrespective of when they join or leave the conference.
  5. Click Show to view all the users in the conference.
