Use DKIM Validation for Emails

You can use DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail) to support custom Reply address domains for emails sent from Oracle Fusion Field Service. This helps with branding and personalization and reduces the risk that emails are marked as spam or blocked by recipient mail servers.

For new Email steps, Oracle Fusion Field Service uses the default Reply address: noreply@fs.ocs.oraclecloud.com. In non-Fusion Field Service environments, users can edit the Reply address and use their own domains or subdomains. However, the Reply address domain must be DKIM-enabled for the subscription.

In Fusion Field Service environments, the Reply address is fixed to the default Oracle Field Service address and can't be changed. To use DKIM, you must first register your domain or subdomain for the subscription. Emails sent on your behalf are signed with a digital signature that receiving mail servers can verify using the published DKIM key. This helps confirm that the email was sent through an authorized mail server and that the content wasn't altered in transit.

DKIM is an email authentication mechanism that helps ensure the integrity and legitimacy of outbound emails. It allows recipient mail servers to verify that the sending domain is authorized for Oracle Fusion Field Service email delivery.
Note: Use DKIM when you want to use a customer-owned domain or subdomain in supported Reply address configurations for Oracle Fusion Field Service emails. In non-Fusion Field Service environments, a custom Reply address can be used only when its domain is DKIM-enabled for the subscription. In Oracle Fusion Field Service environments, message scenario Email steps use the fixed default Reply address, noreply@fs.ocs.oraclecloud.com.
