Workflow Step States Flow Order
The following statuses indicate the state of a workflow step on the panel:
- Available Step: Shown with a circle icon. Tap the icon to open the page and enter the required information.
- Completed Step: Shown with a green checkmark inside the circle. These steps remain visible after completion.
- Locked Completed Step: A completed step that cannot be modified appears with a green checkmark and a disabled step name. You can view the details but cannot edit them.
- Unavailable Step: A step that does not currently meet the configured conditions and is unavailable on the panel until it becomes relevant.
Step Positioning in the Panel
The panel helps mobile workers stay focused on their current task as soon as the activity opens and displays:
- The next available (incomplete) step first.
- The most recently completed step (if any) immediately before the next available step.
- After all steps are complete, the panel focuses on the final step.
- If additional steps exist but are not currently visible, the panel uses connectors to indicate their presence, and the page automatically scrolls to the next step.
Workflows in Final Statuses
After an activity reaches a final status (Completed or Not Done), the workflow panel remains on the page. The steps and panel look the same as during the activity, but whether you can open or edit a step depends on its configuration.
