Duplicating and Deleting Rulesets
From the Configurable Consolidation page, you can view, duplicate and delete rulesets and rules. You must be an Administrator to delete rulesets and rules.
To access the Configurable Consolidation page:

On the Home page, click Application and then click Consolidation.
- From the Consolidation Process page, select the Consolidated tab, and then select Configurable Consolidation.
Duplicating Rulesets
To duplicate a ruleset, or rule within a ruleset:

From the Configurable Consolidation list of rulesets, select the row and click
.

To duplicate a ruleset or rule, click Duplicate.

To duplicate both a ruleset and the rules within that ruleset, click Duplicate with Rules.
Note:
To change the name of a ruleset or rule, the ruleset must be undeployed.
Changes to other fields do not require that the rulesets be undeployed.
Deleting Rulesets
To prevent a referential integrity problem with configurable consolidation rules from occurring in the application, Financial Consolidation and Close verifies and prevents the deletion of any metadata member that is referenced in the rule.
You must be a Service Administrator to delete rulesets and rules. When you delete a dimension member from the application, if the member is referenced in a configurable consolidation rule, the system displays a Failure error and the member is not deleted.
To delete a ruleset, or rule within a ruleset:

From the Configurable Consolidation list of rulesets, select the row and click
.

To delete the item, click Delete.
If the ruleset or rule has been deployed and then changed, both the deployed and changed items will be deleted.
