Creating an Invalid Intersection Report

To create an Invalid Intersection report:

1. On the Home page, click Application.
2. Click Valid Intersections, and then click the Reports tab.
3. Click Create.
4. Enter a name for the report.
5. Enter a report description.
6. From Cube, select Consol or Rates.
7. For Entity, Scenario, and View, click to select members, and then click OK.

   In an Invalid Intersection report, the Entity/Scenario/View dimensions are treated as Point of View dimensions and you can select only one member for each dimension. Additional dimensions allow function selections such as IDESCENDANTS(<member_name>).

8. Optional: To select a member from another dimension, click Add Dimension, select a dimension member, and click OK.

   Tip:

   To remove an optional dimension, click Delete next to the dimension.

9. Select an option:

   • Save and Run now - to run the report immediately.

   • Save and Run later - to save the report as a job to be run at a later time. The Schedule Job dialog box displays. Select when to run the job and how often, and then click Submit.
