Example of Setting Up an Item Relationship for a Spoke System

This example shows you how to set up an item relationship in the Spoke System Items subtab on the Manage Items page:
  1. Click Navigator > Product Management > Product Information Management.
  2. On the task pane, click Manage Items under Item Management.
  3. Enter AS54888 in the Item field and click Search.
  4. Click the link associated with the item AS54888 in the appropriate inventory organization.
  5. In the Edit Item page, click the Relationships tab and then click the Spoke System Items subtab.
  6. Click the Add icon and enter these values:
    Field Value
    Spoke System EBIZ
    Spoke System Item AS54888 (Enter the related item that is used in the third-party application. This can be the same or different from the item created in Product Information Management.)
    Start Date System date
  7. Click OK.
  8. Ensure the information you added appears in the Spoke System Items sub tab.
  9. Click Save and Close.
