Enable Notifications for Credit Card Charges
You can configure Expenses to send an email notification to employees when new corporate card charges are available in their Expenses work area after corporate card transaction files are processed.
The application sends the notification email to the employee's work email. The notification lists all the new card transactions created for an employee from the processed transaction files. If no new card expenses are added in the Expenses work area for an employee, the employee will not receive the notification email. If an employee doesn't have a work email, the application will not send the email notification to the employee.
Employees can either review the expense details in the notification or navigate to the Expenses work area to review and submit the expense.
To enable notifications for credit card charges, complete these steps:

Sign in as an Application Implementation Consultant.

In the Setup and Maintenance work area, use the following:

Offering: Financials

Functional Area: Expenses
-
Task: Manage Expenses System Options

On the Manage Expenses System Options page, in the Corporate Options for Expense Report section, set the system option, Enable Notifications for Credit Card Charges to Yes.

Click Save or Save and Close.
You can enable this at the implementation level on the Manage Expenses System Options page, which applies to all business units. Alternatively, you can enable this for specific business units on the Create/Edit Business Unit window in the Corporate Options for Expense Report tab.
Use the Test Notification Email Address field in the development and test environments to specify a test email to which the application delivers the email notifications. This is helpful in testing if the application delivers the email notifications as required.
