Create Brazil Geography

You must define the geography structure, the geography validation, and the address format for Brazil before generating fiscal documents.

Follow these steps:

1. Define the geography structure necessary to generate fiscal documents. Follow these steps:
   1. Navigate to the Manage Geographies task.
   2. In the Country Name field, select Brazil.
   3. From the Actions menu, select Manage Geography Structure.
   4. Click Create.
   5. Select the Geography Types as State and click Add.
      Other geography types available are City and Postal Code.
   6. Select the geography type as City and click Add.
   7. Select the geography type as Postal Code and click Add.
   8. Click Save and Close.
2. Configure the geography validation and address styles for Brazil. Follow these steps:
   1. Navigate to Manage Geographies task.
   2. Search for the country name Brazil.
   3. From the Actions menu, select Manage Geography Validation.
   4. Click Add and add these address style formats:
      • Brazil Postal Address Format
      • Brazil Tax Address Format
   5. In the Address Style Format field, select No Styles Format.
   6. In Geography Mapping and Validation region, select the geography type as State.
   7. Select the Enable List of Values, Tax Validation, and Geography Validation check boxes.
   8. Select the geography type as City.
   9. Select the Enable List of Values, Tax Validation, and Geography Validation check boxes.
   10. Repeat these substeps for the Brazil Postal Address Format and Brazil Tax Address Format address style formats.
   11. Click Save and Close.
3. Configure the address format for Brazil. Follow these steps:
   1. Navigate to the Manage Address Format task.
   2. Search for Brazil Postal Address Format.
   3. Click Edit.
   4. In the Format Layout section, add these address elements:
      • Address Line 1
      • City
      • State
      • Country
   5. You can add additional elements if necessary.
   6. Select these fields and the check boxes:

      Country	Yes	Yes

   7. Click Save and Close.
4. Configure the Brazil Tax address format by repeating the substeps for the previous step.
