How Transaction Numbers are Generated

Application generates the intercompany transactions based on the transfer authorization and the financial route specified in the agreement.

Application generated transaction number contains short code of the initiator organization followed by short code of the recipient organization suffixed by a numeric sequence. The numeric sequence is incremented by 1 from the last generated numeric sequence. Each of the values are separated by a hyphen.

For example, one leg of the transaction, the an initiator (From organization) is US Headquarters, short code USHQ and recipient (To organization) is UK Capital, short code UKCP. The first transaction between the pair will have transaction number - USHQ-UKCP-1.

You must define short code for each intercompany organization.
