Attendee Information for Expense Categories

Several industries have enacted gift and entertainment regulations to provide transparency and to curtail the amount spent on individuals to prevent gift recipients from influencing business decisions.

To comply with local and industry-specific regulations, you can easily capture attendee information for any expense category using Expenses web or mobile applications.

To capture attendee information, the following configuration must be set up on your application:

  • Entertainment policy with only the capture of attendee information specified.

  • Assign the Entertainment policy to an expense type.

When you create an expense item that's associated with the Entertainment policy, the application enforces the entry of attendee and gift recipient details. The attendee details that you are required to provide is based on the options configured for the capture of attendee information during the Entertainment policy setup.
