Add an Additional Amount to a Partner Contribution
You can create a single partner contribution for each stakeholder at the start of the joint venture and request additional amounts to replenish the contribution balance throughout the life of the joint venture. This method is recommended over creating and managing multiple partner contributions with different start dates.
Oracle Joint Venture Management enables you to continue drawing from the partner contribution balance while adding and invoicing the additional amount. This helps to ensure smooth and uninterrupted billing when additional funds are needed.
The method to add an additional amount to a partner contribution depends on how the partner contribution opening amount was invoiced:

If you have used a manual invoice or journal entry for the opening amount, you must create a manual invoice or journal entry of the additional amount and associate it with the partner contribution.
