Cost Adjustments for Burdening Costs

If the integration with Oracle Project Costing is set up to support burdening, in addition to creating cost adjustments for raw costs, you can create cost adjustments for burdening related costs. This helps ensure that all relevant cost adjustments are sent to Project Costing for the accurate tracking of project costs and capitalization amounts.

When burdening is supported, transactions identified for processing by Joint Venture Management can include these types of burdening amounts:

  • Burden cost
  • Burden cost clearing
  • Burdened cost
  • Burdened cost clearing

The burdening amounts that will be processed as cost adjustments depend on your Project Costing integration configuration.
