Trace Project-Related Transactions from Oracle Joint Venture Management to Oracle Project Costing

Project-related transactions and distributions in Joint Venture Management include the following project details:

• Burdening Expenditure Type (for burdening costs if burdening is enabled in the Project Costing integration)

Although all details are captured, the Joint Venture Transactions and Joint Venture Distributions work areas display only the project, task, and expenditure item type. In the Joint Venture Transactions work area, you can identify transactions for raw costs and burdening costs by the value in the Accounting Class column.

Cost adjustments imported into Project Costing from Joint Venture Management include the ID of the associated distribution in Joint Venture Management. This enables you to reference cost adjustment amounts between applications for auditing and troubleshooting purposes.

Also, journals created from project-related distributions in Joint Venture Management include project information. You can use this information to trace project-related journals back to a particular project and project task in Project Costing.
