What is Payables Agent?

Payables Agent is an AI-driven Accounts Payable assistant that helps organizations automate invoice processing and move toward touchless payables operations.

It supports invoice capture, data extraction, monitoring, training, and exception handling in a unified experience. This helps reduce manual entry, fragmented reviews, supplier-specific setup, and challenges caused by changing supplier invoice formats.

The agent interprets invoice layouts, content patterns, and field relationships to map invoice information to Payables attributes. It learns from user corrections and processing outcomes, improving recognition accuracy and straight-through processing over time.

Payables Agent also supports Compliance & Control capabilities for completing invoice attributes and identifying potential anomalies during invoice processing. Invoice Completion derives internal attributes that aren't provided on supplier invoices, while anomaly controls invoices that deviate from defined organizational criteria. These capabilities are configured using natural-language instructions.
