Setting Prediction Options

To set prediction options to use when using Predictive Planning on a form:

  1. Open the form, and then click Layout.

    See Selecting and Opening Forms and Folders.

  2. Select Prediction Options, and then settings such as:

    Option Description
    Include Events Include events associated with the selected calendar by default when performing predictions on the form.
    Select Calendar Select the calendar to associate with the form by default. Any events associated with the calendar are considered for predictions if you select Include Events.

    In FreeForm applications, forms must have a calendar associated with them, and the calendar must map to the granularity defined in the form. If you don't associate the calendar with the form in the Form Designer, a user who opens the form and runs a prediction is prompted to select a calendar for use with the prediction on the form. This selection is saved with the form.

  3. Click Save to continue, or Finish to save and close the form.

    These selections are saved with the form, so it is the default option for all users of the form.
