Configure Autonomous Outcomes
Oracle Fusion Claw provides outcome-driven capabilities for business goals that require planning, research, coordination, multiple steps, or continued action.
You can configure the outcomes that Fusion Claw can pursue, the business information it can use, and how it approaches different types of work. You can also configure the capabilities, agents, and workflows available to Fusion Claw and the controls that govern its actions, including read-only and write-capable operations, permissions, policies, approvals, and requests for additional information. You can also provide examples to help users create supported outcomes.
To define what Fusion Claw can do, configure autonomous outcomes for the application. Define goals and skills, add the required capabilities and supporting agents, provide examples, and configure policies, permissions, and approvals. Make sure to test and validate the configured outcomes.
- Go to AI Agent Studio.
- From the Applications tab, add or edit an application.
- From App Settings, turn on Enable autonomous outcomes to make the Autonomous Outcomes option available.
- Select Autonomous Outcomes.
- In the Goals tab, describe the business results you want Fusion Claw to achieve.
Include these information:
- Who or what the outcome applies to.
- What successful completion means.
- What information or evidence is required.
- Write goals as results rather than UI actions so that they continue to guide Fusion Claw as it plans and performs the work.
- Select the Skills tab to define reusable, task-oriented
instructions that connect business outcomes to the skills available to Fusion
Claw.
- Select Skill.
- Enter a name and description.
- In the Prompt field, specify the approach, required capabilities, decision logic, validation criteria, evidence requirements, blocker handling, and completion conditions.
- (Optional) Select Upload Skill to upload an existing skill file you’ve built with tools such as Codex.
- Select the Additional Agents tab to make specialized
agents available to Fusion Claw for outcomes that require additional business
logic, data access, or actions.
- Select Add Agent.
- Select the required agents from the available workflow agents.
- (Optional) Enable Use draft workflow while developing to use the draft version of the workflow. The workflow must have been published at least once before you can use its draft version.
- Review the Capabilities tab to see the available capabilities. The capabilities are derived from agents mapped to application sections and agents selected as additional agents.
- Select the Data Extracts tab to define the data that
Fusion Claw can access through configured capabilities. Add a
Database extract to retrieve data by running a
predefined database stored procedure.
- Select .
- Enter a name and description.
-
In Stored Procedure Name, enter the name of the PL/SQL package and procedure that run the extract, in the PACKAGE_NAME.PROCEDURE_NAME format. The database connection is managed by the platform and doesn’t require additional configuration.
- From the Data set structure section, choose how
the extract provides data:
- Single data set: Select this option when the stored procedure provides one dataset. Define the input parameters required for this extraction.
- Multiple data sets: Select this option when the stored procedure can provide multiple named datasets. Define the input parameters once and then configure each dataset separately.
- In the Input parameters section, define the
values passed to the stored procedure when the extract runs:
- Parameter: Enter the parameter name expected by the stored procedure.
- Type: Select the data type of the parameter, such as String.
- Description: Describe what the parameter represents or what value to provide.
If you select Multiple data sets, define the input parameters once and specify the following details for each dataset:
- Code: Enter the unique extraction code used to identify the dataset. The code must match the value supported by the stored procedure.
- Name: Enter a readable name that describes the dataset.
- Description: Describe the type of data that the dataset provides.
The configured database extract runs the specified stored procedure and makes the resulting data available to Fusion Claw. Data security is enforced in the database before the data is returned, so the extract provides only data that the user is authorized to access.
- Select the Examples tab to provide sample business
outcomes that users can request. Focus each example on the desired result rather
than individual technical operations to help Fusion Claw interpret similar
outcome requests.
- Select New Example.
- Enter a title.
- Select the category that best matches the example, such as Research, Actions, or Reports.
- Select the mode. Select Research for examples where tasks don't change business data, or Full Auto for examples that complete tasks and take available actions.
- Add a description of the desired outcome.
- Select Run
to run the outcome. - Publish the autonomous outcome.
The published autonomous outcome is available as an example on the Create Outcome page. You can use the example as a reference when defining an outcome by describing the business result you want Fusion Claw to achieve. For more information, see Define an Outcome.
