Define an Outcome

You can use Oracle Fusion Claw for complex outcomes that require planning, analysis, multiple steps, and coordination.

To define an outcome, describe the business result that you want Fusion Claw to achieve. Fusion Claw determines the approach and uses the skills and capabilities configured for the application.

Note: Before you define an outcome, make sure autonomous outcomes are configured for your application and the application is published. For more information, see Configure Autonomous Outcomes.
To define outcomes, do these steps:
  1. Go to AI Agent Studio.
  2. From the Applications tab, search for the agentic application and select Run Run. Loading all sections of the page might take some time.
  3. Select Define an Outcome.
  4. On the Create Outcome page, select an available example or describe the business result that you want Fusion Claw to achieve. State the result clearly, such as an analysis, recommendation, plan, report, or other artifacts, instead of specifying individual implementation steps.
  5. Select an operating mode based on the type of work that you want Fusion Claw to perform and the required level of autonomy. The capabilities, permissions, policies, and approval requirements configured for the application determine which actions Fusion Claw can perform.
    • Research: Use for investigation, analysis, comparisons, recommendations, or artifact creation that doesn't change business data.
    • Full Auto: Use for completing the task and take available actions.
  6. In the Ask Oracle chat window, select Enter to submit the prompt.
  7. Select Start to run the outcome.

The outcome appears on the Outcomes tab, where you can view and manage outcomes by status, such as Needs Action, Completed, In Progress, and Scheduled.

Manage Outcomes

After you define an outcome, you can track its progress and manage it from the Outcomes tab.

To manage outcomes, do these steps:
  1. Go to AI Agent Studio.
  2. From the Applications tab, search for the agentic application and select Run Run. Loading all sections of the page might take some time.
  3. Select the Outcomes Outcomes tab. Outcomes appear by status such as Needs Action, Completed, In Progress, and Scheduled.
  4. Select a status category to review and manage outcomes.
    • Completed: Review completed outcomes, ask follow-up questions, or create another outcome.
    • Needs Action: Review outcomes that require your attention and take the suggested actions to continue.
    • In Progress: Monitor outcomes that are currently being processed. To stop an outcome, select Cancel.
    • Scheduled: View outcomes that are scheduled to run later.
  5. Open an outcome to review its details, results, and generated artifacts.
  6. Based on the outcome status, provide any required information, review or approve a suggested action, or address any blockers.

You can continue working with an outcome as needed. Fusion Claw retains the outcome context, so you can refine results or perform additional research without restating the original business objective.
