What's an autonomous agent?

An autonomous agent goes a step further by operating with a high degree of independence. It can plan, make decisions, and carry out multi-step tasks with minimal human intervention. These agents can combine reasoning, context, and actions to achieve a goal end-to-end. For example, an autonomous agent tasked with organizing a conference might coordinate schedules, book venues, manage registrations, and handle communications, involving you only when necessary for approvals or exceptions.
