About Configuring Time Zones for Oracle Field Service

You must set up the Manage Time Zones and make sure it's in sync with time zones in Oracle Field Service. If time zone codes aren't in sync, the user gets an error and can't create work orders.

After your Fusion Service instance is cloned, connection points to OFS will be carried over from the source to the destination environment. It’s important that you link your destination environment to the corresponding OFS environment integration.

A Fusion Service instance clone doesn't automatically trigger a clone of the OFS instance.

If needed, a clone of Oracle Field Service instance can be requested through the Cloud Portal. For more information, see the Using Oracle Cloud Portal for Oracle Field Service guide.

If an OFS environament shoudn't be closed in full, separate configuration items can be exported and reimported into the destination environment. For more information, see the Administering Oracle Field Service guide.
