Create a User Agent for Digital Assistant
Before you get started, make sure you have permissions which will enable you to create resources and queues, such as the Service Request Power User Duty Role.
Then you'll create a chat agent, and validate and add additional roles to that user.
First, you create the new chat user.
- From the Navigator menu, expand the My Team list, then select the Users and Roles.
- Click the Create (+) icon.
- Enter the required information from the Personal Details area that match the bot
persona. Note: The Last Name field appears first in the form.
- From the Legal Employer drop-down list, choose your company name, and then from the Business Unit drop-down list, select the correct business unit.
- In the Employment Information, chose Employee from the drop-down list.
- In the Resource Information area, choose Service Representative from the drop-down list.
- Click the Autoprovision Roles button.
- Click Save and Close.
Now you validate the new user and add additional roles.
- Sign in as an Application Administrator.
- Click Navigator, then from the Tools menu, select Security Console.
- Click the Users tab and search for the new user.
- Select the new user by clicking the user link.
- Click Reset Password, then enter a new password.
- Then, from the User Account Details page, click Edit.
- In the Roles area, click the Add Role button.
- In the Add Role Membership from Role dialog box, search for the Chat

- Click Add Role Membership, then click Done.
- Click Save and Close.
