Perform Other Actions

Here are other actions you can perform using the Action Bar.

Description

Log a Call

Lets you log inbound or outbound call notes manually, if your organization doesn't have an integration to a telephony system, and you're using a desk phone.

Search Knowledge

Searches the knowledge database and displays the results in a new browser tab that includes the Title and Reference Number.

Find Similar Service Requests

Searches the application for similar service requests based on the key attributes of the service request you're currently working on. The results are displayed in a new browser tab.

Note:

The Action Bar displays the Find Similar Service Requests action in the suggested actions even when you enter these synonyms for find: search, show, detect, obtain, and match.

Resolve Service Request

Lets you resolve a service request.

Note:

The Action Bar displays the Resolve Service Request action in the suggested actions even when you enter these synonyms for resolve: close, complete.

Copy Service Request

Lets you copy an existing service request to quickly create a new service request, when most of the information is the same.

Note:

The Action Bar displays the Copy Service Request action in the suggested actions even when you enter these synonyms for copy: clone, duplicate.

Delete Service Request

Lets you delete a service request, if you've the required permissions.
