The employee isn't picked up by the End-of-Year Archive. The archive log file contains an error that contains a reference to "CA_EOY_ARCH_AREA1". | Ensure the balance adjustment or initialization entry contains the Province
input value. Within the Person Process Results UI, view the Run Results to check the value of the province input value. If it's blank, roll back the entries that have a blank province input value and date effectively recreate the entry by selecting the employee's province as of the adjustment date. If you've used a loader to originally create the invalid entry, rerun this same loader for all affected employees by including the province value. Note:
If any balance adjusted using the HCM Data Loader doesn't appear on the
year-end reports, then roll back the process and test the adjustment using
the Person Process Results UI. If this works, then you can assume the HDL
file wasn't created correctly.

The employee was picked up by the End-of-Year Archive, but no balances were
archived for the employee, therefore no year-end slip was generated. This may be the case if you are attempting to report earnings by using a balance adjustment using an information element to populate T4 Box 14 or RL-1 Box A with the employee’s gross earnings. |
Check the balance feed to T4 Box 14 Adjustment, or RL-1 Box A Adjustment. In this case, you must feed the information element to the T4 Box 14 Adjustment, or the RL-1 Box A Adjustment, balances depending on your requirement. |

Ensure that balance adjustments processed have the correct effective date and TRU combination. The effective date of the balance adjustment must correspond to the active TRU at the time of the adjustment. |
