Sync Synonym Data with Recruiting Assistant

Whenever you create synonyms for locations, job categories, or job functions, you must synchronize synonym data with the Candidate Experience Digital Assistant.

To synchronize synonym data:
  1. Open the Manage Recruiting Assistant Synonyms task from the Setup and Maintenance work area.
  2. Select the area for which you want to synchronize synonyms: Job Category, Job Function, or Location. For example, let's say you select Job Category Synonyms.
  3. On the Job Category Synonyms page, from the Actions menu, select Sync Synonym Data. This launches the scheduled process, Sync Data with Recruiting Digital Assistant, which synchronizes the job category synonyms with the Recruiting Assistant.

    Similarly, you can synchronize job function and location data by going to the respective synonyms pages and performing the above steps.

You can also run the Sync Data with Recruiting Digital Assistant scheduled process from the Navigator > Tools > Scheduled Processes menu. Using the Basic Options section of the Process Details page, you can sync all synonym categories - location, job category, and job function, at once.

Note: It’s recommended to schedule this process to run once every day, after you enable Recruiting Assistant.
