Edit Data Cache

If you have transactions that have been stuck due to corrupted data cache, you can use Edit Data Cache to fix those transactions.

Here’s how you use edit data cache for a stuck transaction:

  1. In the Transaction Manager: Transactions page, locate and select the stuck transaction for which you want to edit the data cache.
  2. In the Actions menu, click Edit Data Cache and then click Yes in the warning message.
  3. On the Correct Data Cache page, enter the path to the node that needs editing.
The path is validated and the current value displays.
  4. Enter the new value and specify the appropriate data type.
  5. Click Edit Node to submit your changes.
  6. Click Yes to confirm.

Add a Node

If you want to add a new node, follow these steps:

  1. Enter the path to the node that needs to be added. The system detects that the node entered in the path is a new node.
  2. Enter the new value and specify the appropriate data type. If there’s a mismatch in the data type selected and the value entered, an error message displays.
  3. Click Add Node to submit your changes.

Revert Changes

If you want to discard changes to the data cache and restore the transaction to its original state, follow these steps:

  1. Locate and select the row of the transaction for which you previously modified the data cache.
  2. In the Actions menu, click Edit Data Cache.
  3. Click Revert Data Cache Changes.
  4. Confirm the discard and restore the transaction back to its original state.
