Manage Payroll Interface Data Values

Use the Lookups task to create a lookup for managing additional data values, such as Company Code and Personnel Area. You can also manage these data values by using the Value Sets task to create a value set.

Create Lookups for Data Values

Complete these steps to create lookups for data values:

  1. On the Home page, click the Lookups task under the My Client Groups tab.

  2. In the Lookup Type field, enter ORA_GPY_BUSINESS_AREA, and click Search.

  3. In the ORA_GPY_BUSINESS_AREA: Lookup Codes section, click New from the Actions menu.

  4. Enter these details in the row:

  5. Click Save and Close.

Create Value Sets for Data Values

Complete these steps to create value sets for data values:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Value Sets task.

  2. On the Value Sets page, Value Set Code field, enter ORA_GPY_PER_AREA_VS. Click Search.

  3. Click Values.

  4. On the Values page, click Create.

  5. Enter each personal area as a value.

  6. Click Save and Close.

  7. On the Values page, click Save and Close to return to the Value Sets page.

  8. In the Search Results section, ensure that ORA_GPY_PER_AREA_VS is selected.

  9. Click Values.

  10. On the Values page, click Create.

  11. On the Create Value page, enter each sub area as a new value. Ensure that you choose the area to which this sub-area belongs to is under the Independent Value column.

  12. Click Save and Close.
