How to Configure Matrix Managers for an Assignment

You need to configure the common lookup codes to add new types of matrix managers. Do these steps to add a new matrix manager:

  1. Log in as an administrative user.

  2. Navigate to the Setup and Maintenance work area.

  3. Search for and select the Manage Common Lookups task.

  4. In the Manage Common Lookups page, search for the PER_SUPERVISOR_TYPE lookup type.

    Note: In the Lookup Codes section, you will see only one line manager entry if you haven't configured any other matrix manager in your instance.
  5. Click the New icon (+) to add the new matrix manager and enter these field values for example:

    Lookup Code

    Enabled

    Meaning

    PROJECT_MANAGER

    Select the check box.

    Project manager

  6. Click Save and Close, and then click Done.
