Overview of Involuntary Deduction Overrides for the US

Involuntary deductions use predefined rules to satisfy state and federal legislative requirements. You use calculation values to override a value or rule associated with an involuntary deduction secondary classification.

You can set overrides at two levels.

The info you set here applies to involuntary deductions for all people in your legislative data group (LDG).

Involuntary Deductions calculation card component

The info you set here applies to a specific involuntary deduction.

Use the Calculation Card task. Set the override on Enterable Calculation Values on Calculation Cards of the applicable card component.
