Create a Salary Basis

Recording salaries using salary basis is a prerequisite for Teachers’ Pension reporting and allowance setup.

A salary basis determines the period in which base pay is expressed, specifies whether salaries can be itemized with components, and identifies any associated grade rate for salary validation. Create a salary element basis and link it to the information element created previously:

  1. Use the Salary basis task to create a new salary basis. Click Create.
  2. Enter the details as shown:
    FIELD OR QUESTION VALUE
    Frequency Annually
    Annualization Factor 1
    Decimal Place to Display 2
    Payroll Element The salary information element you created previously
