Retroactive Absence Reporting

Retrospective changes to absences are processed and reported in the MCR as U lines.

Retrospective changes with U lines (with split rows for pensionable and non-pensionable service) are reported for the following scenarios:

• Late notification of an absence that started in a previous period
• Change to start date for an absence that started in previous period
• Change to (or addition of) an end date for absence that started in previous period
• Deletion of an absence from previous period
