Validate Initial Setup

Use the HCM UK TPS Generic Setup Diagnostics Report to analyse your setup at PSU level.

You run this report by PSU and effective date (required parameters). The following checks are performed:

Validation Type	Validation Description
Organization model	Lists organization structures that have the following TPS-specific identifiers recorded: Local Authority Number (PSU, legal employers, and reporting establishments). MAT or Payroll Provider Number (PSU and legal employers). Establishment Number (reporting establishments). Checks the format of each identifier: Local Authority Number – 3 numbers MAT or Payroll Provider Number – 750 or 751, followed by a forward slash and 4 numbers, for example, 750/1234 Establishment Number – 4 numbers
Pension Scheme Elements	Warns you if no main qualifying pension scheme elements or additional contribution type elements exist. Or lists the elements that do exist.
Element Eligibility	Lists the main qualifying pension scheme elements or additional contribution type elements that have no element eligibility specified.
Calculation Value Definitions	Indicates if user-defined values exist for the following predefined calculation value definitions: TPS Employee Pension Rate Tier TPS Employee Pension Rates TPS Employer Pension Rates TPS Pensionable Annual Salary Minimum and Maximum
Annual Full-Time Salary	Shows the rate definition contributors to these predefined rate definitions: Annual Full-Time Equivalent Salary Annual Full-Time Non-Prorated Allowances
Balance Feeds	Warns you if no user-defined balance feeds exist for the following balances: <Element Name> Permanent Pensionable Pay <Element Name> Assumed Pensionable Pay <Element Name> Eligible Compensation <Element Name> Final Pensionable Pay Non-Pensionable Overtime TPS Non-Pensionable Overtime TPS Retroactive Additional Pension Payments TPS Additional Pension Payments TPS Retroactive Pensionable Additional Hours TPS Pensionable Additional Hours TPS Retroactive Non-Pensionable Absence Payment TPS Or lists the balance feeds that do exist.
Absence Types	Warns you if no absence types exist for the following legislative grouping codes: UK Adoption UK Break in Service UK Maternity UK Paternity Adoption UK Paternity Birth UK Shared Parental Leave Adoption UK Shared Parental Leave Birth UK Sickness UK Special Unpaid Leave UK Unauthorised Unpaid Absence UK Unpaid Industrial Action UK Unpaid Leave Or lists the absence types that do exist.
Extended Lookups	Warns you if no extended lookup mappings exist for the following lookup types: Assignment Category Pension Joining Method lookup Or lists the mappings that do exist.
Pay Award Action Reason Mapping	Lists the action types that are mapped to the predefined Pay Award action reason.
