Archive Year-End Data for the US

Before you can report taxes and wages to the federal, state, and local governments, you must first archive that data.

The Archive End-of-Year Payroll Results flow captures employee balances for a given year and tax reporting unit and archives them for year-end reporting.

Note: When using the Third-Party Tax Filing Interface to submit your year-end data for reporting, you're not required to run the quarter-end or year-end archive. The interface isn't dependent on archived data.

The year-end data archival flow consists of:

  1. Running the prearchival reports.

For further info, see Prearchival Reports for the US in the Help Center.

  2. Validating your year-end balance info.

For further info, see Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management for the US Payroll Reconciliation (2086251.1) on My Oracle Support.

  3. Resolving any balance errors detected.

This might require performing a balance adjustment. For further info, see the following on My Oracle Support.
