Donation Pool Setup for International Payroll

International Payroll customers must enable the rate definition and balance dimensions for the installed legislations of the Configure Legislations for Human Resources task.

Enable the Rate Definition and Balance Dimensions

The Absences Donation Pool rate definition returns a payroll balance that shows the total monetary value of a donation pool, calculated as of the last payroll run. This rate definition is used in Absences to display the total monetary value of the donation pool for the HR Administrator, when reviewing an employee's request to claim leave from a donation pool.

Here’s how you enable the rate definition and balance dimensions:

1. Navigate to the Configure Legislations for Human Resources task.

2. On the Installed Legislations page, select your legislation from the list.

3. To enable the rate definition:

   1. In the Overview pane of your legislation page, click Legislative Rules.

   2. Click Edit and then click Save.

4. To enable the balance dimensions:

   1. In the Overview pane of your legislation page, click Balance Dimensions.

   2. Click Edit.

   3. Select the Base Name checkbox to select all balance dimensions.

   4. Click Save.

5. Click Done.
