Absence Administration Tasks

You can do a variety of absence management tasks for an employee on the Manage Absences and Entitlements page. To open this page, search for an employee on the Person Management work area. Then, click Absence Records on the Tasks panel tab.

What You Can Do

Absences

View the details of an ongoing absence and the next scheduled absence.

Pending Actions

View any actions that are still pending, such as a medical certificate required to approve an absence.

Absence Records

Here's what you can do::

  • Record an absence for an employee

  • Check the status of absences and approve an absence

  • Withdraw an absence

  • View and change plan entitlements

  • View and fix any errors

Plan Participation

Here's what you can do:

  • Enroll employees in new plans or terminate enrollment

  • Calculate accrual plan balances for a selected plan or all plans

  • Review accrual plan balances for the absence period

  • Adjust and transfer accrual plan balances

  • Review qualification plan entitlements for the absence period
