Oracle Recruiting Assistant

Oracle Recruiting Assistant supports the Candidate Experience skill for external candidates and the Internal Candidate Experience and Hiring skills for employees.

Internal Candidate Experience and Hiring Skills

The Hiring and Internal Candidate Experience skills serve employees and are delivered as part of FADigital Assistant.

The Internal Candidate Experience skill enables internal candidates to search for jobs, check their application status, or withdraw their application. In release 24A, the skill has been enhanced with these new capabilities, making it the Internal Candidate Experience V2 (ICE V2) skill:

  • Enhanced job search using location, job category, and job function synonyms.
  • Ability to view interview schedules.
  • Ability to access help and exit the conversation at any time.

To take advantage of these new features, you must install or update FADigitalAssistant, which includes the ICE V2 skill. You also need to enable Opportunity Marketplace.

The Hiring skill enables recruiters and hiring teams to check their requisition status, candidate status, and review any pending offers.

Candidate Experience V2 Skill

The Candidate Experience skill is hosted in its own digital assistant, the Candidate Experience V2 Digital Assistant.

This skill can’t be combined with any other skills like Hiring, HCM, or others because it's public-facing and focuses on external candidates who don't have access to Oracle Recruiting Cloud.

This skill has been enhanced with new capabilities, making it the Candidate Experience Version 2 (CE V2) skill. This skill enables external candidates to search for jobs, check their application status, withdraw their application, and delete their profile. In addition, it supports these features:

  • The administrator has several options to brand and configure the skill using HCM Experience Design Studio.
  • The administrator can configure location synonyms and make it easy for candidates to discover jobs.
  • Using suggestive conversations, candidates can easily find the locations and job categories they're searching for.
  • Candidates can sign up for Talent Community and get access to updates.
Note: Although you can download and install the previous version of the Candidate Experience skill, all new enhancements, feature developments, and support are available only in the new CE V2 skill. Hence, we strongly recommend that you download and install this latest version.
In addition to the default language, which is English, the CE V2 skill provides support for these languages:
  • Portuguese
  • German
  • Italian
  • Arabic
  • Dutch
  • French
  • Spanish
Note: Brazilian Portuguese and Canadian French aren’t currently supported.
The language of the Recruiting Assistant is automatically set to the language of the career site, which enables candidates to chat with the Recruiting Assistant in that language. However, if the language of the career site isn’t supported by the CE V2 skill, the conversation will continue to be in English.

To use the skill, ensure that you've completed these tasks:

  • Licensed Oracle Digital Assistant for Oracle HCM.
  • Downloaded the latest Candidate Experience Skill (CE V2) from the ODA skill store.
