How do I include custom data in the payroll interface?
You can use one of these options to include custom data:
- Extensible fields: The standard Global Payroll Interface supports five Extensible fields. These fields are driven by custom logic configured as Fast Formulas. You can refer this section to enable and use the Extensible fields: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/human-resources/24a/oapnt/use-extensible-fields-to-include-additional-attributes.html#s20070022
- Flexfields: If you have captured your custom data as flex fields, you can incorporate your flex contexts into the Global Payroll Interface template. You can then use these contexts like any other standard object (like for example, Address) when configuring the payroll interface and get them extracted. You can find more details here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/human-resources/24a/oapnt/delivered-payroll-interfaces.html#s20079292
Note: The delivered ADP Payroll Interfaces does not support this approach. For any
additional data to be sent using these interfaces, you need to get in touch with
Oracle and/or ADP.
