Involuntary Deduction Overrides for the US
You can use calculation values as overrides for involuntary deductions. With them, you can override a value or rule associated with an involuntary deduction secondary classification.
There are general overrides applicable to most deduction types, as well as overrides for specific types.
-
Some of these you set these through Enterable Calculation Values on Calculation Cards of the appropriate calculation component on the calculation card.
For further info, see Set Overrides on the Involuntary Deductions Card for the US in the Help Center.
-
Others are calculation value definitions that you set through the Calculation Value Definitions task.
For further info, see Set Legislative Rule Overrides for Involuntary Deductions for the US in the Help Center.
General Overrides
These overrides might apply to multiple involuntary deduction types. Access them through Enterable Calculation Values on Calculation Cards of the appropriate calculation component on the calculation card.
For these value names, <type> represents the deduction type and, when appropriate, the state name, such as Alabama Garnishment Order Amount or Educational Loan Order Amount.

This override observes any frequency value you entered on the card component detail. |
