Online Payslip for the US

The US payslip includes details of the payment, such as employee and employer information, pay period, earnings, deductions and accruals, and net pay distribution details.

It is a printable record of:

  • An employee's payment for a given pay period

  • Any payment not associated with a specific pay period, such as a bonus or commission payment

How to Configure the Payslip

You can edit the default payslip template to suit your organization's needs. For further info, see Configure the Online Payslip for the US in the Help Center.

Before You Can Generate the Payslip

The payslip process publishes its output to Document Records. To make sure that happens, you must define a process configuration group.

This group must have the following parameter set to Y:

XML Data Source For document of records delivery options performance purposes, determines if XML is derived from the database. Default: Y

When You Run the Process

To run the process:

  1. From My Client Groups, click Payroll.

  2. Click Submit a Flow.

  3. Select your US legislative data group.

  4. Search for and select Generate Payslips.

When you configure the process, it requires you to select a process configuration group. Select the group you defined in the previous section.

How to View a Person's Payslip

There are four methods for viewing the payslip.

View Payslip task

  1. In My Client Groups, click Person Management.

  2. Search for the person in question.

  3. In Actions, click View Payslip.

  4. Enter the search criteria, and click Search.

  5. Click the link under View Payslip for the desired payment date.

  6. Click Open.

Person task

  1. In My Client Groups, click Person Management.

  2. Search for and select the person in question.

  3. In Actions, click Person.

  4. Click Documents.

  5. Click the link under Attachments for the desired payment date.

  6. Click Open.

Document Records task

  1. In My Client Groups, click Person Management.

  2. Search for and select the person in question.

  3. In Actions, click Personal and Employment and then Document Records.

  4. Select the Payslip type.

  5. Search for and select the person in question.

  6. Click Search.

  7. Click the link under Attachments for the desired payment date.

  8. Click Open.

Employee Self-Service

  1. From the employee's Me page, select Personal Information.

  2. Select My Documents.

  3. Select and view the payslips as required.
