- Learning recommendations are set up using the Recommendation

Employee task:
- Choose careers of your interest. To do so, click the
Careers of interest link from the
side panel in Grow. On the listing page, find a career
you’re interested in. Click the career role card, and on the
career details page, click Add to
Favorites.
Administrator task:
- Define a job profile for the employee's career of interest from . Note that even if you've defined a position
profile for the career of interest, you need to also have a job
profile defined to display data in this swim lane.
- Set up learning recommendations using the Recommendation
Profiles application (available in My Client

the employee's role, you also need to have a job profile defined
to display data in this swim lane.
- Ensure that one or more skills added to the favorite gigs are
present in the Learning Outcomes section of a learning
item.

Administrator task:
- Add skills to the favorite jobs. The skills added to the job

employee's job profile. Note that even if you've defined a
position profile for the employee's role, you also need to have
a job profile defined to display data in this swim lane.
- Ensure that one or more skills added to the favorite jobs are
present in the Learning Outcomes section of a learning
item.

Employee task:
- Choose careers of your interest. To do so, click the
Careers of interest link from the
side panel in Grow. On the listing page, find a career
you’re interested in. Click the career role card, and on the
career details page, click Add to
Favorites.
Administrator task: Run the process,
Recommend the Most Popular Learning, with the
recommendation category as: Popular with others in your careers of
interest. It's recommended to select the Recalculate
recommendations checkbox as it considers the learning
items completed over the past six months to generate recommendations. If
you don't select this checkbox, the process considers learning
completions over the past week to generate the recommendations. It's
recommended to run this process on a weekly basis. If any
learning items match the criteria specified in this process, those
learning items appear here. Or, you can recommend any learning
item manually to have it appear in this feed. To do so, follow these
steps:
- Go to and select a learning item,
Courses, for example.
- On the Courses page, select the course that you want to
recommend.
- Click Learners from the side panel, and
then select Recommendation from the
Add Learners menu.
- Select the recommendation category as Popular with
others in your careers of interest and click
Next.
- Add the name of the employee and click
Submit.
These steps trigger the Process Learning
Recommendations job which creates the learning
recommendation. |

- The trending gigs with the most number of skill matches appear
first in the carousel. Trending gigs without matching skills
appear last in the carousel.
