What's the difference between a flow pattern and a flow?

A flow pattern can consist of a single task such as Calculate Payroll or a series of tasks such as the Global Simplified Payroll Cycle.

Flow patterns can be predefined or configured as part of the implementation cycle. The flow patternincludes all the definitions such as task sequence and parameter details and parameter binding rules.

Provide a unique name for the flow pattern and submit the flow pattern, using the Submit a Flow page. This instance of a flow pattern is referred to as a flow.
