Example of How to Generate Multiple Time Cards at One Time

You can generate many time cards at one time using a combination of people, time card parameters, and optionally, time attributes.

In this example, you want to generate weekly time cards for selected people, for the upcoming month. Checking the calendar, you see that this month has 5 weeks. The example dates assume that the time card periods start on a Monday and end on a Sunday.

Fastpath: My Client Groups > Time Management > Team Time Cards

1. Search for the people using their group name and the available dates for the upcoming month. For example, select Sunday, January 7, 2018 and Monday, February 5, 2018.
2. Select the people you want to generate time cards for.
3. Specify the number of time cards to generate, such as 5. The process automatically sets the From Date value to the Available From Date value.
4. Specify what entries to include on the time cards, if any.
5. Optionally, add time card attributes and values.
6. Submit the process.

Results:

The process generates the 5 weekly time cards for the specified available range and selected people.
