Certifications

Certifications identify why an absence period isn’t paid. The application generates certifications during sickness absence processing.

To review sickness absence certifications:

Navigation: My Client Groups > Absences > Absence Definitions > Absence Certifications

1. Search for and open the relevant certification:
   • The application generates the ORA_HRX_IE_INSUFF_INFO certification when it can’t calculate average pay from the employee’s payroll processing history.
   • For employees with FTE equal to zero, the application calculates the average hourly pay rate using payroll processing history. Before the SSP eligibility date, the employee must have been assigned to a payroll for the minimum number of periods shown in this table:

Note:

• For multiple assignments under the same employment ID, at least one assignment must meet this requirement.
• If the employee becomes eligible for SSP during an absence period, the application checks the payroll periods before the SSP eligibility date.
• If the certificate is generated, enter an SSP Daily Normal Pay Override.
