Update Calculation Value Definitions

To calculate the correct sickness absence entitlement for an employee, calculation values need to be present for certain calculation value definitions.

  1. In the Calculation Value Definitions page, enter the Name as Ireland Statutory Sickness Entitlement, the Legislative Data Group and select Search.
  2. Enter the Effective Date to capture the Value for that Year. For example enter 01/01/2025 to enter the value for the year 2025.
  3. In the Search Results region, select the Calculation Value Definition Ireland Statutory Sickness Entitlement.
  4. Select Create in the Calculation Values Region.
  5. Enter the From Value, To Value and Flat Amount.
  6. For each year for which absences are created, the Yearly value should be entered.
    Note: To enter the Yearly Value for the year 2026, the record for 2025 should be end-dated and a new record for the year 2026 should be entered as on 01/01/2026.
  7. Follow the same steps to enter the values for the Ireland Illness Benefit Waiting Days.
